Requirements
We are about 7kms from the small historic village of Gundaroo, which has an IGA supermarket , friendly local pub, pizza cafe and a top class restaurant. There is also a tasting cellar for a local winery. We are a small rural property with cattle, 2 ‘retired’ horses and domestic pets. The cattle and horses would be managed by another local farmer but seeking someone to live in to look after 3 dogs, 2 cats and a small flock of ducks while we are away for about 3 weeks in Jul/August 25. The cats live in the shed but are fed daily. The 2 border collies and 1 kelpie dog sleep in a run outside but are in and around the house during the day if someone is home. They love company!
It is a modern very comfortable home. Heating is by a very efficient pot belly fire with plenty of firewood available and a gas fire in the library. Gundaroo is cool in winter but often sunny and the house is passive solar so takes advantage of the winter sun ! The garden should not need much care at that time of year.
